Functions

To handle the service and salary matters of non-teaching officers and employees of Groups A, B, C and D in the offices under the control of this Directorate.
Starting new medical and dental colleges. Increasing the admission capacity for degree/postgraduate courses and accordingly conducting a technical inspection of the relevant institutions and submitting a report to the government.
Preparing the budget of the Directorate, Government Medical/Dental/Nursing Colleges under the control of this Directorate and the attached hospitals.
To conduct audits of the Directorate, Government Medical/Dental/Nursing Colleges under the control of this Directorate and the attached hospitals.
Handling of legal cases of employees from Group-A to Group-D in Government Medical/Dental/Nursing Colleges and affiliated hospitals under the control of this Directorate, including the Directorate.

To enhance the capabilities of existing educational institutions such as medical, dental, nursing, etc. by upgrading them.
To provide more and more medical services to patients in government hospitals under the control of this directorate and benefit them.
To create infrastructure for quality control in government medical/dental/nursing colleges and hospitals under the control of this Directorate.
